Convegno OLED Lighting Innovation 2009 – 8a edizione

La Facoltà del Design e il Dipartimento In.D.A.Co. del Politecnico di Milano
sono lieti di annunciare l’ottava edizione del convegno Lighting Innovation
dedicato agli OLED. Il convegno si tiene nell’ambito del Master in Lighting
Design sostenuto da Artemide, Castaldi, Disano, General Electric, iGuzzini e
Trilux e patrocinato da AIDI, ASSIL e ASSISTAL.

Il convegno Lighting Innovation rappresenta da anni un momento di incontro nell’ambito
dell’innovazione del progetto di illuminazione tra l’alta formazione universitaria e le
aziende del settore.
Le evoluzioni in atto nel settore dell’illuminazione vedono come possibile
nuova protagonista la tecnologia OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode), le cui
potenzialità meritano discussioni e approfondimenti. A questo proposito il
convegno OLED Lighting Innovation si propone come momento di esplorazione e
indagine di questa nuova risorsa nel settore illuminotecnico. Grazie agli
interventi dei tre principali produttori mondiali (General Electric, Osram,
Philips) del settore e dei docenti del Master in Lighting Design del
Politecnico di Milano, si indagherà sulla possibilità di sviluppo di questa
tecnologia con l’obiettivo di fornire un’occasione per discutere e
confrontare le diverse esperienze e soluzioni.

La partecipazione è gratuita ma la capienza dell’aula è limitata. Per i

The Design Faculty and the In.D.A.Co. dept. of Politecnico di Milano are
glad to announce the eighth edition of the convention Lighting Innovation
dedicated to OLED. The meeting will take place within the framework of the
Lighting Design Master funded by Artemide, Castaldi, Disano, General
Electric, iGuzzini, and Trilux and patronized by AIDI, ASSIL and ASSISTAL.
Since years the convention Lighting Innovation represent a moment of meeting
in the field of Lighting Design innovation between high level academic
training and sector companies.
Actual development in lighting field, suggest that a new leading role will
be played by the OLED technology (Organic Light Emitting Diode), whose
potential need in depth discussions. To this end, the meeting “OLED Lighting
Innovation”, is proposed as a moment of exploration and research of this new
resource in the lighting field.
Thanks to the lectures of lecturers of the three main world producers
(General Electric, Osram, Philips) and professors of the Lighting Design
Master of Politecnico di Milano, it will be possible to wonder about the
evolution possibility of this technology, to discuss and  compare different
experiences and solutions.

Participation is free but the lecture hall capacity is limited. For content
