Prestige Italia

Research in this project moved from the wish of matching the new Prestige Italia brand identity with the attention to details, required by the sadle-making crafting technique. Within the firm, it was important to create a continuous communication flow between workers and customers, who could find themselves interacting with the company while their order is being processed.

The brand identity is enhanced by the majestic building, built with smooth concrete panels, deliberately left almost rough. The overall look is lightened by a see-through smooth wall, which lets one can catch a glimpse of the production and crafting process inside the building.
Inside the building, distribution areas are carefully organized: the structure is divided in two sides, of two and three floors, organically structured, whith staggered floors and staircases linking the outdoor part of the offices. Consistency of purpose and look is guaranteed by iron joints (staircases and corridors), discrete but very resistant, which encourage a two-ways communication between the management and the production department. Communication between offices and the conference hall is enhanced by IDEA glass-only mobile partitions, designed and supplied by Nordwall Spa. The structure neatly separates the new office area and the production area. The separation is given by a clear cut highlighted by a larged aluminium skylight (4,50 x 31.00 m), with automatic opening and stopsol glasses.

Materials have been carefully chosen and ensure wellness for workers and respect for the environment. The building is in alucobond sheets.
Soundproof material has been layed between DIVA partitions’ melanymic panels, and placed amongst offices to guarantee acustic protection. Moreover plaster acoustic 40 mm thick mineral rock have been placed above these partitions, between the loft and the ceiling, The continuous, smooth wall face and the wide skylight, as well as the glass walls in the offices maximize daylight luminosity on the inside, natural ventilation and a view on the green, the result is a deep mental and physical wellness.
