The high glass content of this striking ttsp designed building in Ipswich leant itself perfectly to using Faram’s glazed partitioning systems. On the ground floor the P700 double glazed system is installed whilst the office levels are fitted with a combination of P500 cross walls (incorporating solid sections) and P600 single glazed meeting room fronts with sliding doors. When Suffolk County Council decided to take occupancy of the building (it had become available unexpectedly) Faram won the public tendered furniture package for the desking, wall storage, break out and meeting room furniture. The interior features 1000 positions of the new bench system (Fra’Tino) in birch with silver structure. Ttsp chose to introduce colour to the interior with green and red desk returns to the bench. Structural components for the bench are laid out prior to installation. The bench is fully wired by services contractor prior to installation of the desk tops.
